This immunohistological study of the anterior pituitary gland in Snell-Bagg dwarf mice
demonstrates a total absence therein of somatotropic, prolactin and thyrotropic cells.
Gonadotropic, melanocorticotropic, LPH-and endorphin-positive cells are well developed;
they appear to be hypertrophied and more numerous than in normal animals.
